Mumbai House brings Indian cooking to North Main Street in Tooele. It is part of a small Utah family of Mumbai House restaurants, and the Tooele location has quickly become a favorite for people who used to drive to Salt Lake for a good curry. Expect samosas to start, then butter chicken, coconut korma and a range of vegetable and tofu dishes, all available at the heat level you ask for. Gluten free and vegan choices are clearly part of the menu rather than an afterthought. It is a comfortable Indian restaurant for a sit down dinner, and takeout is popular too. The restaurant is closed on Sundays.
