Wardle Fields Regional Park is a Salt Lake County park in Bluffdale and one of the biggest family attractions in the south valley. Kids head straight for the large splash pad, which runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day, and the destination playground with its fire watchtower slides, racing zip lines and long bouldering wall. Grown-ups get plenty to do as well, with sixteen pickleball courts, basketball, a sports field and a paved walking path. Three pavilions can be rented for birthday parties and reunions. On hot summer afternoons the park draws families from well beyond Bluffdale, so arriving early in the day is a good way to find parking and shade.
