Deseret Peak Complex is Tooele County’s big recreation campus at the corner of Sheep Lane and State Route 112, inside the Grantsville city limits. The grounds hold a lighted softball complex, baseball and soccer fields, BMX and motocross tracks, indoor and outdoor arenas for rodeo and equestrian events, a convention center, pavilions, playgrounds and an RV campground. The Utah Firefighters Museum, with more than 50 vintage fire engines, is also on site and can be visited by appointment. The aquatic center has been under reconstruction, so check with the county for the current reopening status before planning a swim day. For Grantsville families it is the go-to spot for tournaments, races and county events.
