Profile
Utah Lake State Park lies at the west end of Center Street in Provo, on the shore of the largest freshwater lake in the state. It is the main launch point for boating, waterskiing, kayaking, and fishing on Utah Lake, and it also has picnic areas, a playground, a disc golf course, and a campground. Birdwatchers and families come for the open views of the lake and the mountains behind the valley. Kids can take part in the Junior Ranger program. As a state park, it charges a day use fee, and conditions such as fire restrictions can change with the season, so check the park page before heading out.
